- hey jordan,
how do you do decades? Ive been trying for a while now and its really bugging me i think i'll make a video tut, but for now, i'll explain in text. first, it helps if you can spin frontside (if you're decading frontside), so learn fs 3's. once you have those pretty much dialed you can try decades. 1. Put your feet into almost a ski position, not on the dropouts but farther up the deck. 2. I found that it helped to keep my hands close together on the grips. 3. Crouch down low, then jump as HARD and HIGH as you can, while spinning. 4. Turn your head, pull up your knees as high as you can, and try to do an x-up, that really helped me. 5. Keep in the pulled-up-knee position, i've found that i didn't think i was going to land but i kept in the position and i did land it. 6. Land. Other than that, practice. they're a fun trick to do, especially once you can do them with catches like a 360 downside whip. hope i helped. | |
